India Gate



The India Gate, located in the heart of New Delhi was built to commemorate the 90,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who lost their lives fighting for the Indian Empire in World War I and Afghan wars. The Amar Jawan Jyoti is located here.

Hari-Ki-Pauri



Hari-Ki-Pauri which means "Feet of the Lord" is a famous ghat on the banks of Ganga at Haridwar. It is believed that this is the spot where Ganga leaves the mountains and enters the plain lands of India. Crowded with devotees who are here to take a holy dip and to visit the nearby temples.



Ganga Arathi conducted at Hari-Ki-Pairi in the evening.

Haridwar

Haridwar is located at around 200Km from Delhi. Hardware means Gateway (dwar) to God (Hari).



At Hari-Ki-Pauri, the main ghat on the banks of Ganga at Haridwar.
